Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager Talent Acquisition Partner to serve as the right arm to our client's Head of TA.  We're looking for someone with exceptional leadership skills, the desire to take on new and exciting challenges with grit and grace, and a passion for recruiting top talent.  We are prioritizing R&D/Med Affairs or commercial expansion pharmaceutical recruiting experience, or executive search experience in the life sciences.  Since Talent Acquisition at this company is fast paced and challenging, we are looking for someone with a growth mindset who prioritizes making work fun and rewarding.

Interested? Here's what we need from you:

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive responsibility in full life cycle recruitment, preferably with at least 4 years as an in-house recruiter or executive search recruiter for pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven success leading special projects, training and mentoring junior team members, and implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Strong pharmaceutical industry business acumen and life-cycle knowledge, with the ability to make strategic recommendations and assist the Head of TA in team planning
  • You move quickly and effectively, knowing how to plan your day around interviews, sourcing tasks, and escalating great candidates to the right manager.  
  • You value the importance of the candidate experience and providing candidates with top-notch, "white glove" service
  • You have exceptional professional communication skills, both in writing, over the phone, and in person
  • You are always learning new things and consider yourself a curious person - adding new skills to your experience is a major motivating factor for you
  • You are an exceptional relationship builder with both internal customers (hiring managers, executive leaders, SMEs, etc.) as well as with your candidates and extended network
  • You consistently pipeline great talent for future needs, knowing when and where to encourage hiring managers and executive leadership to make opportunity hires
  • Serves as an example of company values and ethics, both inside the company as well as externally with vendors, online, and at industry or business oriented events
  • Experience with LinkedIn Corporate Recruiter a must and strong reporting and record keeping practices
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience

  • Prior experience with Greenhouse applicant tracking system
  • Prior experience with AI, programmatic advertising, or any other cutting-edge recruiting industry tools
  • Prior management experience running a team and providing timely feedback
  • Executive search experience
