We sat down with one of our Managing Partners, Richard Ogbogbo to reflect back on a fantastic business year and look towards what 2018 has in store…
What are the major developments Concilium has made in the last year?
2017 was a very impressive year for the business, as we grew our Net Fee Income by up to 50% from 2016. At the same time, we grew our workforce by 40% and doubled our financial turnover. On an international front we continued to build on our presence as a key recruiter across the world. To date, we have made successful placements in over 60 countries.
What were your business development highlights of 2017?
One of the biggest challenges for any dynamic recruitment business is maintaining the quality of your client services while at the same time taking on larger scale assignments from customers. We have managed to do this across all specialist sectors & also successfully won new clients in exciting new territories too! The growth of our contract business has been outstanding and now accounts for more than 50% of our revenue. Finally, a somewhat unsung highlight has been the speed at which all our new employees have integrated into the business & made major contributions to the Concilium Story so far!
What are Concilium’s development plans for 2018?
2018 will see the opening of our New York Office! We will also look forward to successfully increasing our headcount along the levels enjoyed in 2017!
How do you hope Concilium will develop beyond 2018?
I see us becoming a multi-solution talent provider, with an even larger global footprint.
